All songs were played, recorded and mixed in an old apartment in Barcelona by Tiny Ruins and a Singer of Songs, during one week in July, 2010. Little Notes was mastered by Jim Bob Aiken. The artwork was achieved using coffee and a childrens’ paintset in southern Italy, where Tiny Ruins was based for some time during the second half of 2010.
Your purchase of the physical album also includes an immediate download of the 6-track album in your choice of 320k mp3, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.
All your little notes,
Not little loved, your notes.
All your little notes,
Not little loved, your notes,
They follow me ‘round.
How I find them,
In a book to keep a place,
Back of bus tickets,
In my suitcase,
They’re keeping me warm,
Staving off a doubtful wind,
A doubtful wind,
Keeping me warm,
And I quote
Your words, never wearing thin,
‘Round my shoulders,
I quote,
Your words never wearing thin,
‘Round my shoulders.
Oh now, don’t mind me,
I guess I made my bed,
And I’ll be damned darlin,
If you don’t lay with me in it.
Staving off a doubtful wind,
A doubtful wind,
Keeping me warm,
And I quote
Your words, never wearing thin,
‘Round my shoulders,
I quote,
Your words never wearing thin,
‘Round my shoulders.
Oh how time goes on,
How little time goes on.
I wish it full, I wish it long,
No little wish is wrong,
Why, can I follow you ‘round?
Keep me on my toes,
Move mysteriously,
Keep writing your
Little notes for me,
From your very own hand.
(How bold of a squall, a little note is)
From your very own hand
(How bold of a squall, a little note is)
From your very own hand
(How bold of a squall, a little note is)
(How bold of a squall, a little note is)

I sing songs in the bathroom. In packed and empty venues. In gardens, sheds and churches. Once in a weird Finnish gym and
also in the oldest house in Switzerland. On a boat and in a bus and in a horse farm. In noisy Italian bars and spookily silent Belgian rooms. On my own and with people.
I sing songs and if you want, you can listen....more
Benjamin Shaw is a tender genius. He tends to hide from the world, but last year he came out once to play his first live show in many years. The result is extraordinary... a Singer of Songs
Max is mucho more than a musician. He's a writer. He's a rambler. He's a wise man. And he combined all this in an album every home should have. a Singer of Songs
Stumbling upon Tiny Ruins felt like when I first stumbled upon Leonard Cohen in my late teens. The lyrics, the music, the voice come together in a unique melancholic and tender delivery. Loving it! that.bowl.of.petunias
This is first album in a long time I've bought before even listening to the whole thing. Front to back, this is great for those cloudy autumn days. SinkoiSunshine
